Children & Family Ministry
Jen Juhasz, Director of Children & Family Ministry
The vision for Children and Family Ministry at Christ Presbyterian Church is to:
- Partner with parents in nurturing the Christian faith of their children.
- Support mothers and fathers in their parenting responsibilities.
- Provide opportunities for families to support one another.
- Reach out to neighboring families engaged in our church's ministry
- Provide opportunities for children and families to serve God

Children's Mission
We incorporate mission projects in our Children's and Family program here at Christ Presbyterian.
We will be coordinating several children’s mission projects through our Sunday Godly Play program. Information will be disseminated with the Parent Pages and take-home scripture. Some of these projects will be ones that the entire church participates in.
We have written letters, drawn pictures and purchased Christmas trees for our service persons assigned overseas. We have collected school supplies, mittens, gloves and scarves for local children in need, and made creative door hangings for our nursing home residents.
In addition, we collect aluminum tabs year-round to benefit our local Ronald McDonald House. These little tabs really go a long way in helping fund this work. A collection container is located on the Children's and Family Missions table in the classroom wing.
Children and adults participated with members of Sylvania United Church to help with the Kids Against Hunger Campaign. The kids were able to measure out food, which was bagged up and sealed and then helped pack the boxes and created messages to send to needy children around the world.

CPC Tuesday School
Christ Presbyterian Church offers a faith based play and learn program for children ages 2.5 - 5 years old. Children will experience God’s love through stories, crafts, music, and play. Our staff is composed of volunteers from our church that have a passion for ministering to children and sharing God’s love with them. We offer a structured environment where each child can explore, learn and experience being a part of the Body of Christ. Attending children must be potty trained. A $30 donation is requested to help cover the cost of supplies for the year. Contact Jen Juhasz for more information regarding this program and to register your child via jencpctoledo@gmail.com, or at 419-475-8629, ext. 204.
